These framed art pieces paired as a bundle tell a story of journey! You'll receive two pieces of coordinated art: Watercolor art print by Carol Grigg, titled Woman of Tarahumara (Mexico). Published by Editions Gallery, Portland, OR. Large size typical of her work - triple matted and under plexiglass, ready for framing. 42"X32" matted size, professionally matted by Portland's Denise Amato. Cherokee artist Carol Grigg (b 1942), inspired by her heritage and beliefs, creates art with a nature motif. Her work focuses on images of horses, birds, or people. A theme in much of her work is Native American riders on horseback, symbolizing Mother Nature. Carol Grigg infuses Native American history and culture into beautiful prints. Her unique self-taught techniques for print making produce art prints that look like original watercolors. 1980 contemporary woodblock lithograph of a single tree on mountain ridge, set against clouds in front of a full moon night sky. Striking in its simplicity and earth tone colors. Signed and dated (5/80) by the artist, Sam Gray of PA. Small edition (32/26). Double matted under UV glass in a black metal frame. Overall size is 21.5"X28". Image size is 19X13". ________________ 2blackdogz donates all proceeds from the on-line sale of its inventory to charities that support animal welfare, ecology, and the environment.
