A love of horses runs deep in many of the world's cultures. This art bundle includes two stunning hanging works of art that have horses in the theme. The first is an original one-of-a-kind watercolor on paper of a herd of horses by D.C. based artist Tsolmon Damba (b 1970) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This painting has absolutely BEAUTIFUL hues of blue across a galloping horses. Inscribed with a poem along the right size, translation on reverse side. Overall size is 24"X18", image is 16"X12". Unframed, matted by the artist, in original plastic sleeve. Retail price on reverse ($350 in 2012) along with a short artist bio and summary of his works in 2012. NOTE: The artist inadvertently lost his domain name www.tsolmonart.com due to an auto-renewal issue (and is trying to reclaim it) so the website identified on the reverse of the art does not currently work - however, he has an active Facebook page and Instagram account if you want to see more of his work. Source: Purchased in 2012 at a Downtown Holiday Mart in Washington D.C. Retail price is based on the artist's current works and his recent valuation by phone. The second, is a watercolor print EARTH HEALER by Carol Grigg. Lithograph print titled "Earth Healer" from an original watercolor. 35X24" in a heavy white metal frame. Quality heavy stock paper and Grigg's unique printing process makes her prints look like originals. Cherokee artist Carol Grigg (b 1942), inspired by her heritage and beliefs, creates art with a nature motif. Her work focuses on images of horses, birds, or people. A theme in much of her work is Native American riders on horseback, symbolizing Mother Nature. Carol Grigg infuses Native American history and culture into beautiful prints. Her unique self-taught techniques for print making produce art prints that look like original watercolors.Print of a watercolor by Carol Grigg. _______________ 2blackdogz donates all proceeds from the on-line sale of its inventory to charities that support animal welfare, ecology, and the environment.
